The MB 120D is a high-frequency electrosurgical unit designed for small and medium surgical procedures.

Main Advantages

It features digital readout of the delivered power and microcontroller monitoring of operational functions, ensuring accuracy and repeatability. The connection and proper function of the neutral electrode are constantly monitored to enhance patient safety. It stores the last settings to expedite operational flows.

Usage Features and Clinical Areas

Indicated for outpatient and ward surgery (minor/medium impact general surgery), dermatology, dentistry, ENT, gynecology, vascular surgery, emergency services, and veterinary applications. It can be used in operating rooms and clinics where a versatile and safe electrosurgical source is required.

Operational Characteristics

It allows for pure cutting (CUT), blend cutting-coagulation (BLEND), superficial coagulation (FORCED COAG), deep coagulation without carbonization (SOFT COAG), and bipolar coagulation with forceps (available separately). Power delivery can be activated through an electrode holder handpiece (with controls on the handpiece) or a waterproof foot pedal, avoiding distraction from the surgical field.
